Maruti Suzuki XL6

Hi Readers and welcome back, this article based on Maruti Suzuki XL6 MPV. We gathered a lot of attention way before its launch while some wanted to know if 2 MPV could co-exist in a brand others just wanted to know the difference. In this article, we tell you everything that there is to know about Maruti is the latest offering

Maruti Suzuki XL6 Six Seater Ertiga Full Review

First of all the price so the Maruti Suzuki XL6 has been launched at an extra room price or rupees 9.70 lakhs which is actually 2 lakhs more than the base model of Ertiga to make up for this price difference the new MPV gets an extra badging two variants Zeta and alpha as well as a bf6 compliant petrol engine the XL6 is offered with both a manual and an automatic gearbox the manual variant is priced from rupees 9.70 lakhs to10.3 Lakhs, whereas the automatic variant starts at rupees 10.80 lakhs and goes up till 11.40 lakhs.

Talking about the size, the Maruti Suzuki XL6is longer wider and taller than the Ertiga despite that it gets the same wheelbase and ground clearance as the Ertiga which is at 180 millimeters; It's not bad actually it's the second-best in its segment. The first the position is backed by Honda BRV at 210 millimeters; with all three rows up the XL6 gives a boot space of 209 liters with the third Road down it offer 692 liters, which is actually a little less than what the Ertiga offers.

Maruti Suzuki XL6 Six Seater Ertiga Full Review

In my opinion the new Maruti Suzuki XL6 looks a lot better than the Ertiga. When the brand did say that they were trying to concoct the sportiness of an SUV with the practicality of an MPV to sustain that SUV look the new MPV it's a larger yet sleeker grille than the Ertiga, And gets a rebound face as well it gets LED headlamps up front blackened out 15-inch, alloy wheels roof rails. As well as a forked plate upfront and interior it also gets a black body cladding that borders the entire salute. The rear is largely similar to the Ertiga.

The L shaped tail lights are carried forward the new MPV is offered in six colors blue red gray khaki silver and white coming to the interior, the Maruti Suzuki XL6  gets an all-black cabin instead of the beige that is offered in the Ertiga. It also gets the company Smart Play infotainment a system that boasts of a seven-inch touchscreen it's compatible with Apple car play and android auto, Other features on offer are automatic climate control cruise control automatic headlights wipers as well as rear AC vents. It also gets a keyless entry with a start/stop button but the main attraction of the interior are the two captains seats that make the second row, Maruti has let go of the bench that is offered in the Ertiga and presents itself in a six-seat layout. Dual front airbags ABS with EBD speed warning system and rear parking sensors are offered as standard under the hood the XL6  does not get a diesel engine instead it has to make the with the single VS6 compliant 1.5-liter petrol engine. This engine has been previously seen on the CIAZZ and the Ertiga, And gets a mild hybrid system which claims to improve fuel efficiency the powertrain belts out 105 pairs of power and 138 Nm of torque it is offered with the 5-speed manual gearbox as well as a ford speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The claimed mileage is 19 kilometers for the former and 17.99 kilometers per liter for the latter. The figures are exactly what is awkward by Ertiga, Now since the XL6 has ported both into the SUV segment and the NPV segment it has gathered a lot of rivals it competes against the Mahindra Marazzo and they Honda BRB in the MPV segment. It also rivals against some of the SUV like the Uni Cavata Nissan kicks and the Renault Duster.
